Conditions for Applying the Minimum Price Guarantee Policy
Ask-to-Print is committed to guaranteeing the best price in mainland Portugal for all its personalised printing products.
This policy applies exclusively to final consumers and only when all of the following conditions are met:
1. The compared product is technically identical
The product offered at a lower price must be identical in technical and production characteristics, including:
- type of product (e.g. business cards, flyers, stickers, textiles, etc.);
- format, material, and finishing;
- printing method and quantity;
- production and delivery times;
- and any additional included services (e.g. file checking, custom cutting, packaging).
2. The competitor is a legally established company in Portugal
The lower price must be offered by an online printing company or print shop legally established in Portugal, with a registered business and public prices visible on its website.
Examples include websites such as 360imprimir.pt, vistaprint.pt, pixartprinting.com.pt, or other comparable operators in the printing sector.
3. The quoted price is current and verifiable
The customer must provide proof of the competitor’s price by submitting:
- a screenshot from the competitor’s website showing the date and visible URL; or
- an official quotation issued by the competitor (including date and validity).
The competitor’s price must include VAT and shipping costs and be valid on the date of the request.
4. The comparison is made before purchase
The Minimum Price Guarantee applies only before the order is finalised with Ask-to-Print.
Once payment has been made and production confirmed, this policy cannot be applied retroactively.
5. Application limit
The benefit applies to only one order per customer and per product and cannot be combined with other promotions, volume discounts, promo codes, or special campaigns.
6. Exclusions
This policy excludes:
- products on temporary promotion, clearance, or special offer;
- products with different technical specifications, even if visually similar;
- design, file setup, installation, special shipping, after-sales, or any accessory services;
- prices offered by third-party sellers on marketplaces;
- typographical or publishing errors on competitors’ websites.
7. Refund method
If eligibility is confirmed, Ask-to-Print will either match the competitor’s price or credit the difference as a discount voucher, valid for future purchases within 12 months.
8. Applicable law
The application of this policy complies with Decree-Law No. 166/2013 of December 27, as amended, particularly regarding the prohibition of selling below cost.
