Cotton and polyester
Blends combine fibres in different proportions. Check the style and colour composition: a 100% cotton outer face does not mean the entire garment is cotton.
Brushed inside
Brushing creates a soft, fleecy inner surface. Examples include GILDAN Heavy Blend and TH Clothes PHOENIX, AMSTERDAM and DELTA.
Unbrushed French Terry
SOL’S CONSTELLATION has an unbrushed, looped inside. It offers an alternative to the fleecy feel of brushed fabric.
270 to 320 gsm
The selection includes different fabric weights. Weight per square metre helps compare fabrics, alongside fibre composition and knit construction.
Brands in our selection
Hooded, crew neck or zipped?
Hooded
The hood and kangaroo pocket shape the garment. Consider the clear chest area and the part of the back the hood may cover.
Crew neck
A style without a hood, leaving the back clear. Compare adult and children’s styles and their size charts.
Zipped
The front opening makes layering easier. Plan decoration on each side, allowing for the zip and pockets.
Print positions
Left or right chest
Artwork under 5 cm high: 10 cm below the lower neck seam. Artwork over 5 cm: 8 cm below that seam.
Centre chest
Artwork under 5 cm high: 10 cm below the lower neck seam. Artwork over 5 cm: 8 cm below that seam.
Back with hood
15 cm below the lower neck seam. Allow for the area the hood may cover.
Back without hood
12 cm below the lower neck seam.
Sleeve
5 cm from the start of the sleeve.
Nape without hood
4 cm below the lower neck seam.
Distances indicate placement, not artwork size. If the pocket prevents the stated front distance, the artwork is centred between the neckline and pocket. For artwork exactly 5 cm high, confirm placement. Available areas depend on style, garment size and technique; do not cross zips or seams without confirmation.
How would you like to personalise it?

Direct-to-garment printing · DTG
Applies ink directly to the garment. An option for images and multicoloured artwork on compatible styles.

DTF transfer
The artwork is printed onto a film and transferred to the garment with heat and pressure. It reproduces colours and detail.

Screen printing
Applies ink through screens prepared for the artwork. Compare this option for designs with defined colours and repeated quantities.

Embroidery
Builds the design with stitches and adds texture. The logo’s size and detail affect the result.
Available techniques and decoration areas vary by product.
Choose the size for each style
Compare a garment you already wear
Measure the width and length of a sweatshirt laid flat and compare them with the style’s chart. S, M and L are not universal measurements across brands.
Mix sizes, keep the same colour
You can split the quantity across sizes of the same style, keeping the same colour and decoration. Prepare a separate configuration for another colour.
How to choose personalised hoodies and sweatshirts?
What is the difference between brushed fabric and French Terry?
Brushed fabric has a soft, fleecy inside. Unbrushed French Terry retains its knitted loops; compare the feel you want and the style specification.
Can the hood or zip affect printing?
Yes. The hood may cover part of the back, while the zip and pocket limit the front area. Select a position from the product options.
How do I choose the fabric weight?
Consider the feel and structure you want, the use and the season. Compare composition and knit alongside weight; weight is not a quality rating.
Is the composition the same in every colour?
Not always. Some marl colours use fibre blends. Check the composition of your chosen colour and reference before ordering.
Can I mix sizes?
Yes, for the same style, colour and decoration. Allocate the quantities to the sizes you need.
Can I mix colours in one configuration?
No. A configuration must keep the same colour. Prepare a separate configuration for another colour.
Which decoration techniques can I choose?
DTG, DTF, screen printing and embroidery, depending on the product. Compare the options in the configurator and their suitability for your artwork.
Can I personalise the front, back and sleeves?
Available areas depend on the style and technique. Select the areas shown in the configurator; not all products offer the same positions.
How should I wash a personalised sweatshirt?
Follow the garment label and decoration care instructions. Avoid ironing directly on the graphic and do not apply one washing temperature to all styles.
