Where will you apply it?
Shop windows and glass
For promotions, opening hours or decoration, compare glass vinyl with repositionable static-cling film. Decide whether you need a white, transparent or perforated material and which side of the glass it will be applied to.
Flat surfaces
Personalise panels, doors and other compatible smooth surfaces. Compare white, transparent and grey-backed materials according to the substrate colour and desired effect.
Walls and interior decoration
Choose wall vinyl for graphics and messages. To cover an area with a pattern or image, compare wallpaper. These are different solutions: wallpaper currently offers the classic unpasted option.
Vehicles: graphics, wrapping or magnets
Distinguish individual graphics from a full vehicle wrap. Magnetic signs are a removable alternative for compatible metal surfaces. Check the material, curvature and installation before preparing artwork.

Floors and exhibition spaces
For floor signs or individual graphics, choose floor vinyl with anti-slip lamination. To cover an exhibition area, compare Filmoprint vinyl flooring. These are different products with different installation methods.
Cut lettering, logos and shapes
Use lettering for opening hours, names and logos. Choose cut coloured vinyl or a printed-and-cut option. The choice depends on the design colours, material and cutting complexity.
Choose the effect and material
Compare the visual effect before choosing a material. Options vary by product and are not available in every combination.
White
A base for images and colours that conceals the substrate through unprinted areas. Compare the available matt or gloss appearance.
Transparent
Allows transparent areas within the design. The background colour and any white printing affect the result; check the product options.
Grey backing
Helps conceal the substrate colour or existing graphics. This backing property differs from the matt or gloss finish of the printed face.
Perforated
Combines a printed image with small holes for light transmission and visibility. The effect depends on the lighting on both sides of the glass.
Translucent for backlighting
For graphics lit from behind in a compatible structure. It differs from transparent vinyl and does not include lighting.
EasyWall
A wall option available in white or transparent on the relevant product. Check compatibility with the surface and the condition of the paint.
Monomeric and polymeric identify vinyl families; white, transparent and grey-backed describe other properties. Choose the available combination according to the surface, exposure and use. For changing messages on glass, also consider Refix static-cling film.
Printing and cutting: two ways to create your graphics
Cut coloured vinyl
The colour is part of the material itself. Letters and shapes are cut from the chosen vinyl, using the colours and effects available in the configurator.
Printed and cut vinyl
The graphic is printed before cutting, allowing the design colours to be reproduced. Prepare the artwork and cutting path according to the product instructions.
Rectangular, round or custom cutting defines the outline of the piece. Lettering allows separate letters and elements: it is more than a rectangular sticker containing text. Check minimum detail sizes and the complexity level before ordering.
Protection and lamination
Matt
Reduces surface reflections. Available on products and materials offering this option.
Gloss
Adds shine to the printed face. Consider the lighting at the installation location.
Gloss anti-scratch Cast UV
A protective option available, for example, for wall vinyl and full vehicle wraps. Check compatibility with the selected material.
Anti-slip for floors
A specific finish for floor vinyl. Choose this product for pedestrian signage and check the floor condition and intended use.
Before applying vinyl
Clean, compatible surface
Check texture, paint, moisture and residue before applying. Vinyl suitable for glass does not automatically replace a wall, floor or curved-vehicle solution.
Dimensions and application side
Measure the usable area and decide where the message will be viewed from. For glass, check whether inside application requires mirrored artwork and white printing in the chosen configuration.
For application, see the squeegee and installation service. Provide the location, dimensions and surface type so the work required can be assessed.

Request design helpHow to choose your self-adhesive vinyl
Understand the differences between materials, printing and application before configuring your order.
Which vinyl should I choose for a shop window?
Start with glass vinyl. Choose white, transparent, perforated or translucent backlit material according to the intended effect. For campaigns you want to reposition, compare static-cling film.
Can I apply it inside glass for viewing from outside?
It depends on the material and printing options. Check mirrored printing, application side and any white layer on the product. Do not simply mirror the file without checking the configuration.
Does transparent vinyl print white?
A white area in the design does not by itself guarantee white ink. Where available, select solid or selective white printing and prepare the file as instructed. Without this layer, transparency affects colours.
Does perforated vinyl guarantee privacy?
The visual effect depends on the lighting difference between the two sides of the glass. It does not guarantee privacy in every situation, especially when indoor and outdoor lighting changes.
Can lettering be printed or cut from coloured vinyl?
Yes. Choose a printed-and-cut option or cut coloured vinyl. With coloured vinyl, the colour comes from the material; with printed vinyl, the graphic is printed. Check the material and cutting complexity on the product.
How do removable and repositionable differ?
Removing a piece does not mean it can be reapplied. For repositioning or reusing a message, compare repositionable static-cling film. Always check the surface and usage instructions.
Can I use the same vinyl on walls and floors?
Choose products suited to each surface. Floor vinyl offers anti-slip lamination; wall vinyl offers EasyWall options. Exhibition flooring is a different covering solution.
Is vehicle vinyl the same as a full wrap?
They are different products. Choose according to coverage, curves and the intended result. For a removable message on a compatible metal surface, consider magnetic signs. Discuss installation with an installer.
Are lamination and installation included?
Check finishes and accessories in the configuration and order summary. Installation is presented separately: provide the location, dimensions and surface so the required work can be assessed.
How should I prepare artwork for cut vinyl?
Follow the product template and instructions. Check scale, margins and the cutting path; respect minimum detail sizes and outline fonts where requested. For white or mirrored printing, also prepare the specified layers.
