Finishing and fixing
Choose finishing options for your installation method. Check availability and affected edges on the product page; the images illustrate each finish’s purpose.
Aluminium eyelets
Create fixing points along the edges. Check their positions on the product and the accessories needed to connect them to the structure.
Reinforced edges
Reinforces edges under tension. Depending on the product, reinforcement may cover the full perimeter or selected edges. It is not the same as a pole pocket.
Pole pocket
Forms a sleeve for a pole or cord. Choose the edges required for installation and check the pocket dimensions and compatibility with the support.
Before setting the dimensions
Measure the installation space
Set width and height to suit the available area and the message orientation. Check the unit requested by the configurator.
Allow for fixing
Before finalising dimensions, decide whether you need eyelets, reinforced edges or pole pockets. Check installation space and follow the template for your configuration.
Keep the message legible
Use short text and images suited to the final size and viewing distance. Keep logos and essential information clear of cutting lines, eyelets and folds.
Check site conditions
Wind exposure, the structure and fixing method affect the choice. For exposed locations or large installations, confirm the solution with the installer.

Which banner should I choose for general advertising?
A PVC banner is a starting point for façades, shops and events. The current option is PVC Extreme Classic 500 g/m² with front printing. For wind exposure, opacity or backlighting requirements, compare the dedicated alternatives.
Are mesh and wind-resistant banners different?
In this category, these are two names for the same solution: 260 g/m² mesh. The mesh allows airflow. Compare finishing options on your chosen product; wind-resistant does not mean suitable for every wind strength.
What is the difference between blockout and double-sided?
Blockout describes a light-blocking material. The Blockout Banners product has front printing on opaque-backed fabric, 240 g/m². For printing on both sides, choose Double-sided Banners in Extreme Blockout 600 g/m², with identical or different artwork.
When should I choose a backlit banner?
When the image will be lit from behind in a compatible structure. Compare Extreme Backlight 450 g/m² and backlit fabric 150 g/m². Check material and fixing compatibility with the structure; the print alone does not include a lighting system.
Are fabric and non-woven banners the same?
No. The current Fabric Banners option is polyester 235 g/m². TNT Light 95 g/m² is a lighter non-woven material suited to temporary advertising. Appearance and available finishing differ; choose for the intended use.
What does PVC-free banner mean?
It means the substrate contains no PVC. The product currently offers a 275 g/m² material. This describes composition; it does not automatically mean it is recyclable in every waste stream or has a specific environmental certification.
Can I choose custom dimensions?
Set width and height in the product options, within the displayed limits. Custom-shaped cutting is not available for every material. For sizes or shapes outside the available options, request advice before preparing final artwork.
Are eyelets and reinforced edges included?
It depends on the product and configuration. Check accessory and reinforcement options in the order summary; do not assume tensioners, cords or other mounting items come with the banner. Available options vary by material.
How do reinforced edges differ from pole pockets?
Reinforcement strengthens edges under tension. A pole pocket creates a sleeve for a pole or cord. They serve different purposes: check the affected edges and pocket dimensions before choosing the mounting system.
How should I prepare artwork for a large-format banner?
Use the selected product’s template and instructions. Check final dimensions, required scale and areas reserved for cutting, eyelets and folds. Choose images suited to the size and viewing distance; do not use the same margin or resolution for every material without checking the instructions.
